This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse or receiving leader who enjoys being on the floor, coaching teams, improving processes, and keeping operations moving safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Receiving & Inventory Operations
-
Lead day-to-day receiving operations to ensure all inbound materials are processed accurately and on time

Maintain uninterrupted material flow to production
-
Execute and support pull-based inventory and replenishment systems in partnership with operations
-
Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
-
Ensure warehouse organization, labeling, and material locations (HOMEs)
-
Prepare and coordinate inter-plant material shipments as needed
Leadership & Team Management
-
Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 4+ receiving associates
-
Lead daily shift stand-up meetings to align priorities and expectations
-
Set schedules, manage temp labor, and control labor costs
-
Interview, hire, train, and evaluate team members
-
Provide floor coverage when needed to keep operations moving
Safety, Compliance & Communication
-
Enforce OSHA and site safety policies; actively participate in safety programs
-
Ensure receiving documentation is accurate and submitted on time to finance/AP
-
Communicate effectively with plant leadership, suppliers, carriers, and internal partners
-
Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions quickly
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
-
2–4 years of experience in receiving, warehouse, or distribution operations
-
Prior experience leading or supervising warehouse teams
-
3+ years combined experience operating stand reach and sit-down forklifts
-
Strong inventory control and cycle count experience
-
Working knowledge of warehouse operations and safety best practices
-
Ability to lead from the floor with urgency, accountability, and professionalism
-
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred (Not Required)
-
Experience in manufacturing or bulky goods environments
-
Exposure to ERP or WMS systems (SAP a plus, but not required)
-
Comfort reviewing basic inventory, labor, and receiving reports
Physical & Work Environment
-
Lift up to 75 lbs (team lifting as needed)

Frequent standing, walking, and forklift operation throughout the shift

Occasional bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching
-
Required PPE: safety glasses and safety vest
