We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Set-up and operate CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls according to engineering specifications, instructions, GD&T and operation sheets.
• Working with close tolerances.
• Must be able to set up and run conventional Lathes.
• Perform minor maintenance activities as required by the preventative maintenance program.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Basic knowledge/comprehension of shop math.
• Heat treat knowledge or experience a plus.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, or other containers.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
• Requires standing.
• Requires repetitive movement.
• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
