Job Summary

The Production Lead assists the supervisor with all aspects of dairy production. You will oversee operations from raw milk receiving through to the finished product. This role ensures the team safely meets daily volume, quality, and regulatory standards.

Role Overview

• Location: On-site (San Bernardino, CA)
• Shift: 5am-1:30pm (First Shift) Pay Rate: $24.50
• Shift: 9pm-5:30am (Third Shift) Pay Rate: $25.50
• Position Type: Full-time

Core Responsibilities

• Assist Supervision: Support the shift supervisor in managing daily manufacturing operations and team assignments.
• Milk Intake: Oversee raw milk receiving, testing, and storage protocols.
• Process Oversight: Monitor processing, pasteurization, and packaging to ensure continuous workflow.
• Quality Control: Enforce strict food safety, sanitation, and SQF/HACCP standards.
• Workflow Coordination: Train team members and reassign tasks to resolve production bottlenecks.
• Material Handling: Operate a forklift to move materials, pallets, and supplies safely across the production floor.
• Data Logging: Complete accurate shift reports, inventory logs, and compliance documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in food manufacturing, ideally within fluid dairy or cultured products.
• Leadership: Proven experience directing small teams or acting as a shift backup.
• Certifications: HACCP certification and forklift operator license desired.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Work Environment: Comfortable working around heavy machinery and in varying temperatures, including refrigerated spaces.
• Schedule: Ability to work the dedicated 5am-1:30pm or 9am-5am shift regularly.
